Riders Remembered
Memorial Wall - Guided

This guided ride leaves Sound Harley‑Davidson and heads south on Smokey Point Blvd before bending north toward Arlington, where we settle into Highway 9 — one of those roads that gets you where you are going without drams. The pace is steady, the air is cool, and as we travers north the road starts offering those gentle swoops and sweepers that make you remember why you love riding in Washington.
We’ll follow Highway 9 north to Clear Lake for our first comfort stop. It’s a good chance to stretch, hydrate, and shake out the shoulders before the scenery starts to shift. From there, the group rolls into Sedro‑Woolley and onto the backroads through Minkler, Lyman, and Hamilton — a string of quiet, rural communities stitched together by winding pavement, river views. These roads have personality: a few twisties, a few long curves, and plenty of spots where the trees open up just long enough to show off the foothills.
Our destination is Riders Remembered Memorial Park — a place built by riders, for riders, to honor the ones who should still be with us. The memorial wall is simple, powerful, and impossible to walk past without feeling something. We’ll take time here to reflect, share a moment, and pay respects. It’s the heart of this ride, and it’s why this loop matters.
This is our mid‑ride stop. Quiet and peaceful and definitely removed from the mainstream, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the setting was designed by riders for riders...to catch their breath, reflect on ones that left us too soon. It’s the kind of place where conversations start easily and the miles behind you settle in.
We will not be stopping for lunch, but we will be staying for a bit.
